    Abstract


    Theories of consumer behavior have been studied and developed by worldwide scholars. This study aimed to review the theories and practices of consumer behavior towards imported foods. The results synthesized some basic theoretical models of consumer behavior. The study summarized the determinants of Vietnamese consumer behavior towards imported foods, based on an overview of the related domestic and international studies. This study opened up a new direction for research on Vietnamese consumers’ attitude, purchasing intentions and consumer behavior towards imported foods in general as well as each specific imported foods.
