Abstract
This study was conducted to assess factors influencing land use planning for urban and industrial development in Duy Tien town, Ninh Binh province. The combined methods used in the study were secondary and primary data collection, data processing, scaling measurement construction and correlation determination. The results showed that there were 06 factors, including: investment attraction policy factor, investment capital source factor for planning implementation; people's living standards, natural conditions and natural resources, urbanization speed and urbanization level, and regional linkage in urban and industrial planning. There were 06 factors with medium positive influence: environmental protection policy in urban and industrial planning, Eonomic structure, culture, customs, and practices, natural disasters and climate change, urban land use structure with urbanization process and traditional historical factors in urban and industrial development. On that basis, some effective solutions to improve land use planning for urban and industrial development in the study area have been proposed.
