    Abstract


    The primary aim of this study was to estimate the impact of cooperative membership on income generated from rice production of households. The study was conducted in Tieu Can and Chau Thanh districts, Tra Vinh province in May 2022. The total sample size was 155 rice households, consisting of 80 cooperative members and 75
    non-members. Propensity score matching (PSM) approach was used to measure the impact of rice households’ participation in cooperatives on their incomce from rice cultivation by controlling for possible selection bias.
    Results showed that cooperative particiption helped improve net revenue and income derived rice production of the member households.
