Abstract
This study aimed to compare the households (HHs) with full agricultural land acquisition and households with partial agricultural land acquisition in socio-economic aspects. The secondary data were collected from related departments of the People's Committee of Duy Tien district and Ha Nam's Statistical Yearbook 2018. The primary data was gathered through interviewing 279 household-respondents by questionnaire. The study applied descriptive statistic methods, t-test and Simpson Index of Diversification. The result revealed that agricultural land acquisition led to shift employment, change agricultural production and income of farming households, in which there were differences between the two groups. The study suggests some solutions to reduce disadvantage changes for HHs with agricultural land acquisition in terms of these indices.
