    Abstract


    On the basis of overview of theoretical issues, the article concentrates on interpreting and developing a theoretical basis and building an analytical framework on the impact of logistics information on business performance in enterprises. Through research, logistics information in enterprises were divided into 2 main flows, namely  (i) Planning - coordination flow and (ii) Operational flow, the intersection between these 2 flows is inventory management. The basic requirement for logistics information is to ensure security, timeliness, accuracy and reliability, in order to provide useful information to logistics managers. Internal factors (business characteristics, leadership commitment, information technology infrastructure, technology qualification and acceptance of users) and external factors (government policies and support, supply chain partner technology level, competitive pressures and customer expectations) play a key role in developing and improving quality logistics information, helping to better meet the information needs of managers. Thus, logistics information contribute to improving the efficiency of supply management, inventory management, order management and transportation management, thereby improving the business performance of enterprises.
